A.     Move that the March 7, 2006, Town Council meeting open and closed session minutes be approved, as recorded, and that the closed minutes be sealed.

VI.               Licenses and Permits:

A.     Consider approving a Massage Therapist License for Lisa Evens, 881 Providence Pike, Danielson, CT, to perform Massage Therapy at “About Face Esthetics, Ltd.”, 600 Putnam Pike, Greenville, pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

B.     Consider approving a new Victualling License for Peter S. Cristafi, Jr., KAC Foods, Inc., d/b/a “McDonald’s”, 445 Putnam Pike, Greenville, pending Health Department and Fire Department approval and subject to compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

C.    Consider approving the renewal of a Private Detective License for Ralph Howe, d/b/a “Information Connection Unlimited”, 10 Austin Avenue, Smithfield, pending compliance with all state regulations, and local ordinances.

VII.              Public Hearings:

A.     Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request for outdoor seating and bar service for Home Plate Hospitality, Inc., d/b/a “Box Seats Restaurant”, 332 Farnum Pike, pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

B.     Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request for outdoor seating and bar service for Alijack, Inc., d/b/a “Greenville Inn”, 36 Smith Avenue, pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

C.    Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an ordinance which would transfer ownership of the Smithfield Exchange Bank/Waterman Tavern to the Smithfield Preservation Society.

D.    Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a zone change for AP 48/Lots 10 and 11 from Planned Corporate and R-80 to R-20M.

VIII.            Old Business:   None

IX.               New Business:

A.     Consider enabling legislation to authorize the Town of Smithfield to issue, not to exceed $5,000,000, General Obligation Bonds or Notes for Road Repair and Reconstruction.

B.     Consider approving a bid award for the Department of Public Works for engineering services to update the Water Supply System Hydraulic Modeling and Master Plan.

C.    Consider approving abatements and addenda, as recommended by the Tax Assessor.

D.    Consider possible appointments to boards or commissions.

E.      Consider a possible motion to go into closed session pursuant to Sections 42-46-5(a)(5), real estate, 42-46-5(a)(1), personnel, and 42-46-5(a)(2) collective bargaining and litigation of the RI General Laws.

F.     Reconvene in open session, if necessary, to announce any closed session votes required to be disclosed pursuant to RI General Laws, Sec. 42-46-4.
