A.
Consider approving a new
Victualling License and new Holiday Sales License for L.N.P. Enterprises, d/b/a
“Domino’s Pizza”, 375 Putnam Pike, Unit 25, pending compliance with all state
regulations, local ordinances and final Health Department approval.
B.
Consider approving renewal of a
Bingo License for Georgiaville Manor, 20 Higgins Lane, pending compliance with
all state regulations and local ordinances. (fee waived)

Public
Hearings:
A.
Conduct a Public Hearing to
consider an amendment to the Smithfield Zoning Ordinance for a zone change from
R-80 to R-20M for Harris Road and Douglas Pike (Plat 45, Lot 92)

New Business:
A.
Consider authorizing the
Smithfield Planning Department to submit a grant application to RIDEM for
Wetland Stream Restoration in Deerfield Park.
B.
Consider adopting a resolution
allowing active Smithfield police officers hired before July 1st,
1999, to participate in the Rhode Island Employees Retirement System.
C.
Consider adopting a resolution
authorizing the Smithfield Town Council to submit legislation scheduling a bond
referendum for future school construction.
D.
Consider approving abatements and
addenda, as recommended by the Tax Assessor.
E.
Consider possible appointments to
boards or commissions.
F.
Consider a possible motion to go
into closed session pursuant to Sections 42-46-5(a)(5), real estate,
42-46-5(a)(1), personnel, and 42-46-5(a)(2) collective bargaining and litigation
of the RI General Laws.
G.
Reconvene in open session, if
necessary, to announce any closed session votes required to be disclosed
pursuant to RI General Laws, Sec. 42-46-4.
