A.     Move that the minutes of the March 6, 2007 Town Council meeting open session be approved, as recorded.

VI.           Licenses and Permits: To consider and act upon the following matters:      

A.     Consider approving the renewal of the following three (3) Weapons Licenses, pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances:

1.     Robert S. Anderson d/b/a “44 Gun Shop”, 350 Douglas Pike

2.     Dick’s Sporting Goods, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield Crossings

3.     Donn C. DiBiasio d/b/a “DB Guns”, 37 A Pheasant Run

B.     Consider approving  a Massage Therapist License for Celeste R. Gentile, d/b/a Therapeutic Bodyworks, 466 Putnam Pike, pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

VII.          Public Hearings:  To consider and act upon the following matters: 

A.     Conduct a Public Hearing to consider approving a zoning amendment from Commercial to a Highway Commercial Zone for Plat 46, Lot 75D – George Washington Highway.

VIII.         Old Business:  To consider and act upon the following matters: 

A.     Bryant University Discussion

IX.            New Business:  To consider and act upon the following matters:

A.    Consider approving the RIPDES Small MS4 Annual Report as submitted including any attachments and amendments.

B.    Discussion regarding an ordinance with reference to Dams & Reservoirs.

C.    Consider approving abatements and addenda as recommended by Tax Assessor: None

D.    Consider possible appointments to boards or commissions:  None

E.     Consider a possible motion to go into closed session pursuant to Sections 42-46-5(a)(2), collective bargaining and litigation of the RI General Laws; PIC vs Town of Smithfield, R.E. Partnership Services (Walgreens) vs Smithfield Zoning Board of Review; Anderson vs Town of Smithfield; Geri DeAngelis vs Town of Smithfield; Update Union Negotiations – Collective Bargaining.

F.     Reconvene in open session, if necessary, to announce any closed session votes required to be disclosed pursuant to RI General Laws, Sec. 42-46-4.
