C.     Consider approving a license for Bryant University – Paws and Whiskers to raise money for animal shelters around our society on April 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

D.   Consider authorizing bid award for the Smithfield Police Department’s Local Area Network Area Network Infrastructure through a Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community-Oriented Policing.

E.    Consider authorizing bid award for the Smithfield Police Department’s Hardware Upgrades Funded through a Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community-Oriented Policing.

F.      Consider authorizing bid award for Video Game Services at the Smithfield Ice Rink.

G.     Consider authorizing a “Sole Source” purchase from The Zamboni Company for a new Ice Resurfacing Machine for the Smithfield Ice Rink.

H.     Consider authorizing bid award for Sewer Services for Maplecrest Drive.

I.        Consider scheduling a Public Hearing on an ordinance regarding a loan program for the repair of dams.

J.        Consider authorizing bid award for the Annual Audit for the Town of Smithfield and the Smithfield School Department for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2007 to the firm of Cayer Caccia, LLP in the amount of $62,000.

K.    Consider authorizing the exemption and request enabling legislation that the Real and Personal Property of “Looking Upwards, Inc.”, a non-profit Rhode Island Corporation be granted exempt status in the Town of Smithfield as of December 31, 2006.

L.      Consider authorizing the exemption and request enabling legislation that the Real and Personal Property of “The Groden Center, Inc.”, a non-profit Rhode Island Corporation be granted exempt status in the Town of Smithfield as of December 31, 2006.

M.   Discuss a possible Amendment to Sewer Ordinance 294-17 (A) (5).

N.    Consider approving abatements and addenda as recommended by Tax Assessor:

1.      T & M Cleaning, Inc., P.O. Box 306, Greenville, RI.

2.      Theraupeutic Bodyworks, 466 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI.

O.    Consider possible appointments to boards or commissions.

P.    Consider a possible motion to go into closed session pursuant to Sections 42-46-5(a)(5), real estate, 42-46-5(a)(1), personnel, 42-46-5(a)(2), collective bargaining and litigation, RE Partnership Services vs Smithfield Zoning Board, DeAngelis vs Town of Smithfield and 42-46-5(a)(3), security, of the RI General Laws.

Q.    Reconvene in open session, if necessary, to announce any closed session votes required to be disclosed pursuant to RI General Laws, Sec. 42-46-4.
