AGENDA
I.
Call to
Order and Approval of the Minutes of the August 21st,
2008 Town Traffic Safety Commission Meeting.
II. Old
Business:
A.
Consider
reviewing traffic safety improvements on Hillcrest
Avenue, Penbryn Avenue, Tunmore Road and Whipple Road;
B.
Consider
amending the traffic regulation involving one stop sign
on Josephine Drive to reflect its intersection with
Clark Road;
C.
Consider a
request to place “No Parking” signs on the north side of
Swan Road to eliminate parking problems during fall
weekends, each year.
III. New
Business:
A. Consider
a request to limit a portion of the High Ridge Estates
Project to one-way;
B. Consider
a request to eliminate parking on the north side of Hill
Street (the opposite side is already posted “No
Parking”) provided that the developers provide
sufficient, off-street parking;
C. Consider
a request to forward correspondence to the RI State
Traffic Commission restricting parking on both sides of
Douglas Pike, 500 feet north and south of Limerock
Road;
D. Consider
a request to place a stop sign on Crestview Drive at the
intersection of Bewlay Drive;
E. Consider
any street name assignments, if warranted.
