A.   Move that the minutes of the October 21st & November 18th, 2008 Town Council Meeting and closed session for October 21st be approved, as recorded and that the closed session minutes be sealed.

VI.          Licenses and Permits: To consider and act upon the following matters: 

A.   Consider approving the renewal of six (6) Victualling Licenses as listed pending compliance with all state regulations and local ordinances.

1.        Cumberland Farms, Inc. d/b/a “Cumberland Farms #1251”, 355 Waterman Avenue

2.         J&P Management LLC d/b/a “Bob’s Place”, 107 Pleasant View Avenue

VII.         Public Hearings:  To consider and act upon the following matters:

A.   Conduct a Public Hearing on revised wetlands application, Plat 23/Lot 23, Cross Street/Whipple Ave., Smithfield, RI.

B.   Consider scheduling a Public Hearing to establish an ordinance concerning Outdoor Hydronic Heaters on January 6, 2009.

C.   Consider scheduling a Public Hearing on amending the Business License Registration Ordinance for clarity on January 6, 2009.

VIII.       Old Business: NONE

IX.          New Business:  To consider and act upon the following matters:

A.   Consider authorizing an RFP for a statistical revaluation.

B.   Consider, discuss and act upon 2009 Town Council Meeting dates.

C.   Consider, discuss and act upon awarding a bid for a ladder truck for the Fire Department.

D.   Consider possible appointments to Boards and Commissions:

            1)  Sewer Authority (one appointment)

                        a)  Allen Schwartz (5 year term)

            2)  Sewer Authority (one reappointment)

                        a)  Vartan Sahakian (5 year term)

E.   Consider a possible motion to go into closed session to review, consider, discuss and act upon the following matters pursuant to RIGL 42-46-5(a) (5), Real Estate, Land Trust: Wolf Hill Road, Navigant Credit Union Easement, update on Steere Orchard, & Sports Complex, RIGL 42-46-5(a)(2), Litigation, Town representation concerning National Grid filing.

F.    Reconvene in open session to announce any closed session votes required to be disclosed pursuant to RI General Laws, Sec. 42-46-4.
