Proposed Ordinance Amendment
Chapter 126 – Article 5 – Animal Control
New Section 126-24 (B) - Cremation
Proposed amendment to reflect fees for any cremation requested and performed by
the Town of Smithfield Animal Shelter: $20.00 for residents; $30.00 for other
communities; $50.00 for veterinarians.
Proposed Town Ordinance - Animal Cremation

On: Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 7:00 p.m.
Proposed Ordinance Amendment
Chapter 220: Health, Public
New Section 220-6 (B) - Outdoor Hydronic Heaters or Outdoor Wood Boiler
(OHH)Proposed amendment to reflect allowable fuels, prohibited fuels, heating
season, permit process, and operating restrictions on location, installation,
and use.

On: Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 7:00 p.m.
Proposed Ordinance Amendment
Chapter 204: Flood Damage Prevention
Proposed amendment to reflect adoption of floodplain management regulations that
meet the National Flood Insurance Act/Program’s comprehensive set of standards
found in NFIP paragraph 60.3(d), to include: change to Flood hazard protection;
delete Building Official; add Environmental Affairs Officer; delete reference to
Coastal Resource Management Council and coastal V-Zones, and add $100 per day
past due fine until violation is corrected.
