TDAP Vaccination Clinic

Smithfield Emergency Management in collaboration with the Town Manager's Office, Fire Department, Police Department and School Department will be hosting a Tetanus Diphtheria and Pertussis vaccination clinic for the general public on Saturday, February 11th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the gymnasium at Smithfield High School, 90 Pleasant View Avenue. Persons aged 11 and older are eligible to receive the shot.
*** THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY *** Tdap vaccinations are voluntary and the town has organized this clinic in an effort to increase the number of persons vaccinated against Whooping Cough. Vaccine will be administered by the Wellness Comapny. Seasonal flu vaccine will be offered as well. Residents interested in receiving either or both vaccination are asked to bring your health insurance card with you. Those who are not insured will be vaccinated at no charge.

The Smithfield Public Schools, the Libraries of Smithfield, and the Smithfield Police Department have collaborated to provide to the Smithfield community the first in a series of parenting skills workshops and seminars designed to help develop healthy habits and cultivate pro-social behavior in our children and students.
Who should attend? Parents, teachers, grandparents, and/or caregivers of children from preschool through grade 12. Light refreshments will be served.
