Town of Smithfield, Rhode Island 3 May 2008, Saturday Smithfield Conservation Commission Annual Tree Day Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm EST Location: Deerfield Park Smithfield Conservation Commission Annual Tree Day Spring is just around the corner! Please join the Smithfield Conservation Commission as we celebrate spring with our annual tree sale. This year’s sale will be May 3, 2008 at the Pavilion at Deerfield Park. The event starts at 10:00 and will run until 1:00. No early birds please! Each year the commission allocates a portion of their budget for town beautification and this year we will offer two of the resident’s favorite plants, flowering varieties of hydrangea and weigela plants. The cost is $5.00 per pair and the sale is limited to Smithfield residents only. The Commission will also be offering ten free evergreen seedlings first come, first served. As in the past there will be information tables to include the Smithfield Land Trust and other environmental organizations. We hope to see you on Saturday, May 3, 2008.
