Book Reuse Collection Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm EST Location: Smithfield Department of Public Works
**Used Motor Oil may be dropped off during any Special Event** The Town of Smithfield will host a book collection August 21st from 9 am until 1 pm at the Smithfield Public Works Garage (3 Spragueville Road - behind Dave's Towing Service). All books collected will be donated to Surplus Books For Charity, a non-profit organization that distributes books throughout the US and other areas around the world where there are not enough books to sustain literacy and education. All paperback and hardcover books will be accepted including text books and children's books with the exception of Reader's Digest Condensed books and Encyclopedias. Please leave covers on all donated books. Magazines and news papers cannot be donated. Tax donation receipts will be available at the event.
