Former Railroad Stations in Smithfield

Georgiaville Train Station
Was located on what is now known as St. Michaels Way between Stillwater Rd (formerly known as Railroad Ave) and Whipple Ave.  NYNH&H stands for New York, New Haven and Hartford.

Georgiaville Train Station (alternate view)
Train station is on the right.  The building on the left is at the intersection of Whipple Ave and Stillwater Rd.  (In recent years the building has been home to St. Onge's Market and Peter's Cavatelli.)

Esmond Train Station
Maple Ave.
(off Esmond St.). Note the Esmond Bunny logo on the water tower on the top right of the picture. The bunny was the logo for the famous Esmond Bunny Baby Blanket produced at the Esmond Mills.

* Esmond had been previously known as Enfield and Allendale.
