Disaffiliation Deadline for the
Presidential Preference Primary 

TOWN OF SMITHFIELD

In accordance with RI General Laws (17-9.1-24), any person who has designated his or her party affiliation may change the designation on or before 90 days preceding a primary election. The RI Presidential Preference Primary is scheduled for April 24, 2012. Deadline for voters to file disaffiliation (if necessary) to vote in the Rhode Island Presidential Primary is January 25, 2012.    Please contact the Board of Canvassers if you have any questions, at 233-1000, ext. 114.
