ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK I: Town Clerk’s Office:  Temporary, full-time, hourly, non-union, position.  Responsibilities include: answering phones, greeting and assisting the public, recording land evidence, researching vital statistic records, processing and issuing birth, death and marriage licenses, indexing and preparing reports to state agencies, assisting with the upcoming election process and other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. (Associate Degree preferred); minimum of three years of office experience preferably in a municipal setting; proficient in Microsoft office; ability to research, interpret and apply regulations of laws.
