How do I recycle plastic shopping bags?

Plastic bags are NOT to be placed in your blue bin. They are recycled through a special program called Restore. You can find ReStore containers in most RI supermarkets, big-box retailers, and pharmacies. You can bring all of your plastic bags, regardless of where they came from, to any ReStore container.

The following is a list of participating stores: ALDI markets, Bennys, Burlington Coat Factory, CVS, Kohls Department Stores, Lowes Home Improvement, Price Rite markets, Rite Aid, Shaws markets and Wal-Mart Stores. You may also take your plastic bags directly to R.I. Resource Recovery Corporation.
