Free Virtual Workshops for Chronic Pain and Caregiver Challenges

 

The Southern Providence County Regional Prevention Coalition has joined forces with the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH) and Rhode Island Patient Information Network (RIPIN) to offer a series of six-week virtual workshops that address chronic pain and caregiver challenges. 

 

Powerful Tools for Caregivers (18+) for 6 weeks starting March 16, 2022, 6-7:30 pm

Feeling overwhelmed, alone, isolated? Are you having sleep problems and are worried, sad or depressed? This workshop offers tools to help you manage your own emotions, stress, physical health and will provide tips for communicating effectively with loved ones.  

Chronic Pain Self-Management (55+) for 6 weeks starting March 17, 2022, 9:30-11am

Do you have chronic pain, stress, fatigue or sleep problems? Do you need help managing your medications and symptoms?  This workshop empowers adults with chronic conditions to live productive lives and teaches patients to evaluate treatments and make an action plan.
