Final day for voter registration to vote in the Tuesday, March 2, 2021 Special State Referendum Election

SPECIAL STATE REFERENDUM ELECTION
 TUESDAY, MARCH 2, 2021

The final day for unregistered voters to register to vote in the Tuesday, March 2, 2021 Special State Referendum Election is Sunday, January 31, 2021. Voter registration forms will be available at the Smithfield Police Department, 215 Pleasant View Avenue, Smithfield, RI 02917.

Prior to Sunday, January 31, 2021, voter registrations can be downloaded by visiting the Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ri.gov to fill in, mail or drop off.

The mailing address is Smithfield Board of Canvassers, in care of the Town Clerk’s Office, 64 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.

The final day to apply for a braille or tactile mail ballot is January 19, 2021.

The final day to submit an application for a regular mail ballot is February 9, 2021. 

An existing voter who has had a recent change of address or recent name change, may wish to update your voter registration.
